Each chapter is focused on a different physical pursuit, with the same simple structure:

• What is it?

• When and where did it originate?

• What are its rules? (to the extent there are any)

Most importantly, each chapter has a section devoted to The Joy of it All. This is where readers get to hear about the passion people have for their physical pursuits, what they love about them and value, and how they support healthy ageing through enhanced physical, psychological and social wellbeing.

This book will challenge you to think more imaginatively and expansively about your physical activity options, and closer to making one of the best decisions of your life – choosing an enjoyable way to keep moving!
